Having passed your driving test is a great achievement, but newly qualified drivers, irrespective of age, are a higher than average risk. Two young people under 25 die every day in crashes in Great Britain, and in their first year of driving, one driver in five is involved in a crash. Whereas it is appreciated that many life skills are learned by ‘trial and error’, to take this approach whilst behind a steering wheel may be disastrous.

Pass Plus is divided in to six modules that cover all aspects of driving. It is designed to develop the skills and knowledge of newly qualified drivers and broaden their driving experience. The six modules consist of:

Town Driving
All Weather Driving
Out of Town Driving and Rural Roads
Night Driving
Dual Carriageways
Motorways

On successful completion of these modules, you will be awarded a certificate from the Driving Standards Agency. Your Insurance Company may offer you a discount for completing this course; in fact the discount may even be greater than the course itself. The minimum number of hours required to complete this course is 6, but additional training may be required. There is no examination to take, but your XL Driving Instructor will ensure that you have driven to an exceptionally high standard, and listened carefully as to what has been taught, prior to signing your completion form.

Cost: 6 hour session for £150
